Until I figure out how to get WS FTP to work, or get another version of SecureFX or something to upload files to dv8, I have to type text into the html here. Yeah, I'll learn how to do things more elegantly soon. I'm pasting my aim profiles from yesterday and I guess today because I feel like it. I guess this is how weblogs start.

i've been basically thinking out-loud to myself and typing some smidgens of thoughts as away messages and aim profile. kinda different than i'm used to. i used to toss on quotes and thoughts and fun stuff. we'll see how this goes. kinda therapeutic. but weird nonetheless. once something side-swipes me i'll be back on my feet again. which begs the question, where am i now. i think i'm still flying through space and acting all funny. like calling friends up to make sure everything's still cool. as if the whole world changed. dude, i need to get a grip on myself. and a grip back on climbing, and photography, and all the stuff i've been neglecting because i was being a turd. wheeee! my apologies to those who put up with me when i'm being turdish. which makes me think of a cross between a turnip and a radish. whoa. roots, man, rutabaga. sweet potato! squash! - Tues Apr 20

why do i feel like i am gaining in some areas yet i lost in one. and what is this new specter in my dreams. "I never feel so private as when I know you are here." it seems like that could mean so many different bizzare things. and yet i'm thinking of this dream i had the other night, somehow zombies were coming for mike and me, and we had to flee through the woods to his parents' cabin. and the cabin was three-stories high and triangle shaped, like very sloped roofs that hit teh ground. and we had to fortify the cabin to protect from zombies. it must have come from mike's dream that he told me about. but it's weird how vivid the sensations were. the feel of cool, damp wood. the smell of the trees and sweat as we frenzied into weird protection strategies. which reminds me of another host of dreams of the wilderness and leisure stuff with mike and other friends- over the past few weeks i mean. those were cool. good thoughts are out there. just like aliens. that eat your brains. with chocolate bars. and lemon wedges. dear me, i think i need to crawl into bed. maybe i will be lucky and dream of zombies again, because then i get to fight alongside some cool people. only this time the zombies can just kinda chill out with us and play board games like risk and scattergories. or perhaps scrabble. i think i want to have a board game party here at the laurent house in a couple weeks. yah. bitchin'. - Wed Apr 21

" only in its place a reflection through some echo in the universe. is there a wormhole out there attuned to this frequency? a halo tangled in the fabric of the space-time continuum? a surpringly cohesive day for me. people seemed to have sunshine dirty dancing in their pants, 'cause both students and faculty were funky and giddy today. and i caught the stream and rode it out and got a lot accomplished. found a nook to study in, which is freakin' awesome. so the cosmic flow was with the good side of the force... until two moments of frayed fabric. the first was a darting thought about yoga tomorrow morning... but not the same anymore-- that's right. but that's part of it, ya know? push on. encompass and enjoy. and then... the second one is more troublesome. i couldn't bring myself to register to graduate. and for the past month or so i couldn't figure out what was tripping me up. and i realized recently... that getting through the academics wasn't something i felt i needed to celebrate. there's another part of me that i needed to work on, and it has to do with a lot of things. and if i succeed, then it will be something really to celebrate. - Thurs Apr 22
